Advocate, connect, and make an impact at the 2026 Advocacy Day Rally supporting and strengthening early childhood education in Delaware.
 
Together, we’ll engage with legislators, support the early childhood sector, and amplify the voices of those working to expand and strengthen early childhood education in Delaware. Kids welcomed!

The rally will take begin at the Delaware Archives and move to the Legislative Mall after the opening activities. Check out the day's agenda below!


Part 1: Advocacy Training & Storytelling at the Delaware Archives

9:30 AM - Registration and Networking

  • Coffee and light refreshments provided

 

10:00 AM - Welcome and Day Overview

  • Opening remarks and orientation for the day

 

10:10 AM - Panel Discussion and Advocate Workshops 

  • Advocates in the field will share practical insights on engaging with legislators and advancing early childhood priorities.

  • Take part in an interactive session to craft and share personal stories that illustrate the importance of early childhood programs!
     

Part 2: Early Childhood Advocacy Rally at the Legislative Mall

11:20 AM - Early Childhood Advocacy Rally

  • Hear from childhood providers, parents, community advocates about the need for early childhood programs and next steps for legislators to take.


12:00 PM - Lunch, Activities & Advocacy

  • Explore the model classroom, children’s activities, and connect with fellow advocates.

 

1:15 PM - Meet with Legislators (Optional)

  • Participants will have opportunities to meet with their legislators at Legislative Hall.
